NOTES - What they are, and how to learn them on the FRETBOARD

In this video, I dive deep into notes: what they are, and how they are laid out on the fretboard. So many musicians spend years using notes and not really thinking about where they come from. I will answer some of the following questions:

- Why there is a limited or finite number of notes

- Why notes repeat

- Why there are only 12 notes in an octave We will also explore how notes are laid out on the guitar and why it makes it rather difficult to find them on the fretboard.

We will talk about the main disadvantages and advantages specific to the guitar when it comes to fretboard navigation. Finally, we will talk about why it is crucial to know your notes at least on the low E and the A strings, as well as some exercises to practice learning these notes efficiently and permanently.
